Corrections

When we get something wrong, we publish the correction here - the original wording, the corrected wording, the date, and the source that prompted the change.

If you believe a claim on this site is wrong, unclear, or no longer supported by its source, please write to hello@kilnguides.co.uk. Cite the page and, where possible, the primary source you think we should be reading instead. We respond on the public record, not privately.

Our working method - every claim traced to a primary source, every check stated with its limit - is documented at our method. The public sourcing log on that page lets any reader check our work against the originals.

Log

We have not yet had to correct a published claim. When we do, the entry appears here with the original wording, the corrected wording, the date, and the source that prompted it. In the meantime, every factual claim on this site is already traceable to a named primary source in our public sourcing log, held to the same standard a correction would be.

Pre-publication editorial decisions

Before launch, while sourcing this site, we declined to cite a widely shared December 2025 video that claimed to show a raid on a review or view farm in Brazil. On checking, the clip was itself AI-generated, debunked by the fact-checking desks G1 Fato ou Fake and Estadao Verifica. A site about telling the real from the fake should not cite fake media. Recorded here for transparency, as a pre-publication decision rather than a correction.
